The first teams have entered and the first sponsors have signed up for the 2013 Rhenish Day.  Planning for the day is well underway. 

Please ensure the date is marked in your diaries - Friday, 18 October 2013 (at De Zalze Golf Club) and please support the day by entering four ball or boules teams, sponsoring holes and donating either auction items or prizes (please see the link on this website for the entry/sponsorship form). 

Don’t forget that the 2013 Rhenish Day is the PTA’s major fundraising event for the year so your participation in the day, in whatever way you can, helps us make a difference to Rhenish Primary School!

It’s a new day at De Zalze and there is a new committee taking on the challenge of organising the 2013 Rhenish Day.

The 2013 Rhenish Day is one of the few fundraising events that the Rhenish Primary PTA is holding in 2013 so we ask you to please support it as generously as you can.  The event will incorporate golf, boules, an evening function and auction.  There are numerous ways that you can be involved in the day and we would encourage as many of the wider Rhenish community as is possible to contribute in whichever way they are able to. 

We need players for the golf and the boules so please enter your four balls and your boules teams.  There are many sponsorship opportunities for the day for both the golf and the boules.  We also need prizes for both competitions and are looking for auction items for the evening function.

The 2012 Golf Day raised R120,000, which were used to purchase the picnic benches around the school fields and gardens and other items on the school’s wish list.  We hope the 2013 day will be an equally successful fundraising event and look forward to your support in making it such.

Our children were super keen to support our little photo shoot so please follow their example and support the 2013 Rhenish Day committee, and therefore the school, in whatever way you can!
